MERRICK'S NEW #BACKCOUNTRY

Alle went hunting like her ancestral canines and she found the new all-natural, grain-free, Merrick's Backcountry.

Backcountry combines high protein kibble and freeze-dried raw meat pieces for dog food like nature intended.

The kibble's first ingredient is deboned meat and is rich in omegas for coat & skin health.  It is also grain free with no gluten ingredients, glucosamine and chondroitin for hip & joint health.

The freeze-dried raw protein pieces provide a taste experience your dog with drool over.  It provides high energy while being easily digestible.

The Merrick Backcountry Raw Infused kibble comes in four flavors: Great Plains Red Recipe, Pacific Catch Recipe, Puppy Recipe, Game Bird Recipe (which is the one Alle had the pleasure of woofing down).

Merrick's Backcountry canned dog food is grain-free stews with protein, fresh vegetables, and yummy gravy. It comes in five flavors: Hearty Duck & Venison Stew, Hearty Salmon Stew, Alpine Rabbit Stew, Hearty Chicken Thigh Stew, Hearty Beef Stew.  And two grain free, 96 percent protein rich loaf recipes: 96% Real Chicken Recipe, 96% Real Beef Recipe.

And like all Merrick recipes, Backcountry is made in the USA in Texas kitchens.

How Often Do You Wash Your Dog's Food & Water Bowl?

Would you eat off a dirty dish? Drink from an algae glass of water?  Hopefully you answered no.  So, why would you give your dog their food and water from a dirty bowl?  Even if your K9 licks their bowls clean, its not really clean.  That also applies to their water bowls too.

Its easy to forget about your furry friend's bowls because of the other dishes that pile up and the daily grinds of life.  But it is extremely important for your dogs health and sanitary reasons.

For washing frequency it depends on your dog's feeding style.  If you feed your dog just dry food then you should clean your dog's bowl once a day. But if you give your dog wet or raw food their bowl should be washed after each serving.  And you should clean the water bowl once a day due to dust, hair, and germs.

You can clean your pet's bowls by hand using hot water and soap.  Or even in the dishwasher on the sanitize cycle or hottest setting.  Another alternative is you can buy disposable plastic bowls if you don't want to worry about washing your dog's bowls.  I would recommend getting stainless steel dishes because they can stand the drudgery of constant washing and because they're dishwasher safe.

The smell of fresh peanut butter cookies hot from the oven engulf you with these treats. They are made with creamy peanut butter and brown rice syrup.  Im not going to bark anything but the truth I was considering trying one of these yummy treats.  But being a good mom I stopped myself and left them for Alle.

 Apple Cinnamon Crunch
The alluring smell of cinnamon hits you in the face as soon as you open this bag of goodies. These tasty treats are baked with freshly grated apples and organic ground cinnamon. Alle loves apples so of course she was head over paws for these treats.

Your Dog's Diner Bake & Break Kibble Cracker Mix

Do you cook for your loved ones? Well how about for your four legged ones?  With Your Dog's Diner its easy.  Now you can give your dog a safe, side dish with organic, natural, gluten free food.

Your Dog's Diner was created by Rachael and Nathan Johnson.  Proud dog owners of two pawsome rescue dogs, Peanut Butter Brickle and Digby Pancake.  Whose stomach ailments, itchy skin, ear infections, other ailments and along with the constant recalls made Rachel Johnson decide to take matters into her own hands.  She started to research what was safe & unsafe to feed her dogs.  And began making yummy food that her dogs loved & adored.  As Rachael began to feed them less dog food and more "people food" their health issues started to disappear.

I love being able to cook a healthy treat for Alle from my kitchen that could add years to her life.  Also, without the worry of where her treats came from.  And as Rachael would say "Turn Your Kitchen Into Your Dog’s Diner".

Bake & Break Kibble Cracker Mix For Dogs is a great side dish for your dog.  Its full of flavor and crunch that your K9 will beg for!  Its made with organic, wheat and gluten free, natural ingredients.

Making Bake & Break Kibble Cracker Mix is extremely easy!  All you have to do is add this package and 2 cups of water or unsalted broth.

First, pour Bake & Break Kibble Cracker Mix For Dogs in a mixing bowl.

Then, pour 2 cups of unsalted broth or water into mixing bowl.

Mix completely, mixture will be a light green color.

Spray your 10x5 pan with non-stick spray.

Pour mixture into your pan and make sure its spread evenly.

Put pan into your preheated oven of 425 degrees.

Bake for 35 minutes then turn off oven.  Let mixture remain in oven for 4 hours for crunchy kibble or remove right away for a bread consistency.  I kept Alle's mix in the oven for 4 hours.  She loved the crunchiness.

Break into desired size chunks.

Feed to drooling dog!!

You can keep Your Dog's Diner Bake & Break Kibble Cracker Mix refrigerated up to 7 days or frozen for 2 months.  It of course didn't last that long with Alle.  She woofed it down with such delight.  I will also say while this mix was cooking it even made my stomach growl!
